Creating Modern, Surreal
Colorful Art and Surface Design
Modern. Surreal. Colorful Art & Surface Design
Hi, I’m April — an artist and surface designer who creates bold, imaginative, color-rich artwork inspired by the beauty, forms, and movement of flora and fauna. My work blends surreal elements, vibrant palettes, and expressive shapes to spark emotion, energy, and a sense of wonder in the spaces they live.I believe art should feel alive.
It should invite you in, make you pause, and offer something new every time you look at it — just like the natural world that inspires it.
My Style of Art
My work lives at the intersection of modern design, surreal storytelling, and lush, vibrant natural inspiration. I’m continuously drawn to organic forms found in flowers, plants, and creatures — the curves of petals, the rhythm of leaves, the fluid patterns found in wings, shells, and the landscape.
These shapes evolve into dreamlike compositions with saturated color and soft surreal movement.
Whether I’m creating an art print, a digital download, or a repeat pattern, the intention is always the same:
to bring color, imagination, and a sense of natural energy into everyday spaces.

My Process
I work with a mix of digital painting, hand-drawn sketches, and layered textures. Much of my process begins outdoors or through observation — a leaf pattern, a botanical curve, or the color harmony found in natural environments. From there, I build shapes, light, and surreal movement until the artwork feels balanced, expressive, and alive.Experimentation, play, and nature-driven inspiration are central to everything I create.
Thank You For Being Here

Color, imagination, and nature make the world richer — and I’m happy you’re part of it.
